Sad news from Bill Jentz Class of 1965 regarding  Ron Schlag's mother, Agnes Schlag, our beloved long time school nurse.      She lived across the street from me on the northern section of Oak Avenue between Webb and Wales Avenue in River Edge so I knew her and Ron quite well.      Others may have known her as the leader of the Future Nurses Club and many of us may have known her those times we may not have been feeling very well.     Pete McAtee told me that she was a big help for him with his mother, Dorothy, who worked in the Principal's Office, when her health was declining.

I will remember Nurse Schlag as a really good friend. She would give me a pass to cut my last period class- Physics, so I could take a nap before baseball games. The extra sleep helped my pitching, but she told me that if I was going to continue to do this I had better control the snoring.
She was a special lady and will be missed by a lot of people.
