FAYE WOLPERT PROVIDENTI

Faye passed away in May, 2006,  after fighting Parkinsons Disease for about 10 years.  I last saw her at her 60th birthday  party in St. Pete, Florida.  She was wheelchair bound and had difficulty speaking, but she still had that twinkle in her eye and her great sense of humor.  Her wonderful husband Jack, an artist, took care of her at home until the last 3 months of her life; she then had to move to a nearby nursing home.
Faye’s mother and sister still live in Florida.  Her sister Patty, class of ’65, is married with 2 lovely daughters.  Faye has 2 sons and several grandchildren who live in N.J.
Faye was a great friend, always laughing and cutting up.  She loved talking about the fun times in high school and our  zany classmates.  We always made fun of Madame de Hui and French class and the silly proverbs we had to recite.  (We never knew what they meant.)  She would have LOVED the River Dell website.  I just wish she could have seen it before she died.  She was my friend since sixth grade, and I miss her.
