SILVESTRI, John age 64 of Rochelle Park, died Sunday, February 1, 2009. Born in the Bronx, John lived in Rochelle Park for the past 16 years. He was employed by AAA of North Jersey in Wayne for the past 16 years. John served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. Surviving is his daughter Lynn Kirincich of Wayne and his sister Sylvia Re of Saddle River. John was pre-deceased by his brother Frank Silvestri and his sister Margaret Russell. Funeral services were held privately, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
Sil was a good guy who liked to have fun and make being a teenager in high school a good time while we tried to figure it all out.

Johnny (he’ll always be Johnny to me!) had a successful heart transplant many years ago, and worked for AAA of North Jersey. I will always remember him for his love of baseball and his broad shoulders! I came to know him when he dated a friend of mine.
