Dear Classmates
I wanted to let you know that another classmate has pass away. Peggy
Heffner Cory died about two weeks after the reunion. She was just diagnosed
with Cancer and had one Chemotherapy treatment and she passed away.
Peggy had planned on going with me to the reunion but she was ill and
couldn't walk and then this happened. I was quite shocked. We will all
miss her.

I am so sad to see this news of Peg. I had talked to her by e-mail just
before the reunion. She just said something had come up and she would be
unable to make the reuion. Peggy was such a good friend thru high school and
beyond. This is a sad day for me and she will be missed.

I just wanted to say that in Peggy e-mail to me before the reunion she said to
consider the e-mail a big hug to everyone. So Peg if somehow you can see
this, consider this a big hug back at you from the class of 63. You will be missed.

Peggy Heffner Corey, a girl with a great smile. Peggy graduated from Penn State University and became an Architect. She and Dave Corey, a 1961 graduate from River Dell were married and had two children. A son Noah, 31 and a daughter Bridget, 29. Peggy moved from Oradell to East Stroudsburg, PA and then some years later she and her children moved back. Peggy worked in New York City in Interior Design for many years. Peggy's daughter describes her as a wonderful mother, sensitive, supportive and her best friend. Peggy loved to read, go to concerts and travel. The one trip she really enjoyed was a cruise to Alaska. Peggy will be missed by all.
