Raymond W. Westerdale, 83, of Park Ridge died
Thursday, February 22, 2007. Before retiring, he was a music teacher for 25 years at HAsbrouck Heights, River Dell, and Midland Park High Schools. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Pual's Episcopal Church, Montvale. He was a member of the Golden Age Club, Park Ridge. Arrangements: Robert Spearing Funeral Home, Park Ridge.

I was sorry to see the passing of the former River Dell Band director, Ray
Westerdale. I had my first drum lesson with him in summer music school in I
think 1959. And I am still playing almost 48 years later! Former band members
should share some stories on the website.
